Coping with the development of activities

Insofar as activities of network are growing, their responsibility towards the population, who trust them, increases. They have to be managed with harshness and professionalism, on the same grounds as any financial institution. That’s why the use of modern and adapted tools is essential ; from this point of view the CICM has developed the “SiBanque” software.

Sibanque software stems from a collaboration between actors with practical experience and CICM’s experts. Created in 1995, the second version has been recently elaborated.

Completely multilingual and adapted to all the specificities thanks to parameters, it fits to financial cooperatives networks and operates in “back office” as well as in “front office” for mono or multi offices and mono or multi counters.

Front Office :operations are entered simultaneously at the counter
Back Office : for no electrified or no computerized offices, it is possible to enter operations at a previous date on a computer which centralizes “back office” credit unions.
Mono credit union :a credit union managed on one computer.
Multi credit union : several credit unions managed on one computer (case of back office)

A request tool associated to Sibanque allows to carry out any research which doesn’t exist in the tool.

Practicality

Below, the main practicality of this software :

• Members management : physical or legal entity, possibility of regrouping, possibility of guarantee through member sheets ( civil status, address and phone number, occupation,…) and a register of shares.
• Entry and monitoring of office’s operations : operations on members products or on the office.

• Monitoring of accountancy : transactions ledger, trial balance, balance sheet, general ledger, profit and loss account.

• Management reports : report of accounts, credits, production and staff.

• Simulation tools for credits and savings.

• Monitoring status (delinquency report, schedule of repayments)

• Journal entry : possibility to write off journal entries for no parametered operations.

• Consolidate credit unions balance sheets : trial balances of several credit unions from the same project can be accounted in the same database.
